Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune condition that currently has no permanent cure, but it is very manageable. With the right treatment plan — combining topicals, phototherapy, and systemic medications including biologics — most patients achieve clear or near-clear skin and long periods of remission. Our goal is to maximise your quality of life and minimise flares.
Results depend on the location and duration of vitiligo patches. Areas with more hair follicles (like the face and scalp) respond faster — visible repigmentation can appear within 20–30 NBUVB sessions. Extremities like hands and feet respond more slowly. Stable vitiligo that doesn't respond to phototherapy may be a candidate for melanocyte transplantation, which shows results in 3–6 months.
Apply the ABCDE rule: Asymmetry, irregular Border, multiple Colours, Diameter over 6mm, or Evolution (any change in size, shape, or colour). If a mole itches, bleeds, or has appeared recently in an adult, see a dermatologist promptly. When in doubt, get it checked — early melanoma is highly curable; advanced melanoma is not.

Chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) is managed in steps. First-line treatment is non-sedating antihistamines at standard or higher doses. If inadequate, we add omalizumab (a biologic) which produces complete response in most patients. We also investigate and treat identifiable triggers such as H. pylori, thyroid autoimmunity, or food additives.
